I always wanted to know what it meant when you get the shivers or goose bumps when you are talking about or thinking of someone who is passed over?

Great question. The shivers that you feel are validation that the spirit that you are wondering about is in your presence. The soul is actually breezing by you, and you are feeling their vibration. It can feel like someone is walking up your back or spine. It is a soul’s way of letting us know that they have received your thoughts about them.

How can I know who my spirit guide is?

I believe that our spirit guide is the person that you have that inner dialogue with. It is your soul or higher self. I don't feel that they are a separate entity or separate from us. When any of us want answers about ourselves, where do we turn? We turn inward. That is where all the answers about our selves reside. We are being guided all the time, with every decision, every choice; we just have to listen to that inner voice that lies in all of us. If a person is having trouble hearing the voice inside them, then they are simply thinking too much. The noise of the world will drown out the voice of God or Spirit if you let it. This is one reason why meditation is so important. Practice emptying your thoughts so that you can hear the advice and guidance that is there for you. It is NEVER wrong. It is your compass, your guide and your navigator; you never have to make a decision alone.

I had a strange feeling that someone was watching me one night when I was in bed. My husband passed away two years ago, could it have been him?

Yes, I am sure that it was. Souls are around us all of the time; there is nowhere for them to go when they separate from their physical bodies. They are not in some far away land; they are just operating at a vibration that we cannot see with our physical eyes. Babies and pets see them all the time. When we are busy with life, we can miss the subtle signs and clues that they are near, so when we are still and quiet, in bed, in the bathtub, driving alone, etc., that is when souls tend to make their presence known. I am sure that your husband is always close, trying to let you know that he is always near, that he is not as gone as you may think that he is.

I saw you last night in Medicine Hat. Your talk was very comforting and enlightening. I wanted to know if there were evil or bad spirits?

Awesome question. I am asked this a lot. I am sure that there are. I have never experienced any, thank goodness. I am well protected in my work as a medium. This job can only add to my life, not take away from it. That said, I do believe that where there is good there is bad; where there is dark there is light; where there is negative there is positive. Expect that there will always be good and light in your life and that is what you will attract in. Give no thoughts or energy to anything undesirable and the evil of this world and the afterlife will not be able to attach themselves to you. I am so glad that you were able to attend my seminar in Medicine Hat. Stay tuned for more coming up across the province in the next year.

Is there a way that souls/spirits let us know that they are close by?

Yes, there are many, many signs and signals that they give us all of the time. The most common is the recurring thought. "Why am I thinking about my Grandma so much today?" She is trying to give you a nudge to let you know that she is there. Scents are common. When my paternal grandmother is close, I often smell mothballs. I loved her very much, but hated the smell of her house when I was a child. So when I get a breeze of mothballs, right away I know that it is she, no guesswork (I have learned to love the smell now; it gives me great comfort). Memories. All of a sudden a memory about a deceased loved one pops into your head. Basically, anything that makes you stop and feel a connection with someone who is crossed over, hold that thought and acknowledge their presence. That way they will continue to find ways to connect with you.
