Sitting on the couch with a friend one day, we were talking about her life purpose. As is usually the case when I talk to friends, she was telling me about her fears - of breaking out of her corporate job and venturing to Spain to become a healer. We chatted about the reasons why she felt stuck, what created the fear and her need to feel absolutely secure in everything. Minutes turned into hours and we finally got off the couch way past our bedtimes. The next morning she told me that in meditation she discovered that she needed to put a plan in place for moving within a year and thanked me for inspiring her to find her path.

This seems to be a constantly repeating pattern in my life… casual conversations turn into explorations of faith, relationships, money and anything else that causes confusion and anxiety in so many. It’s not to say that I don’t have the same fears, it is just that it all crystallizes before me when talking with others. The words swim in my head like puzzle pieces and over the course of the conversation they lock into place one by one.

And so I sat there wondering how I could take this gift and use it to help people. I am a healer by nature and trade, so it seemed inconceivable to me that I could only help others find clarity with their problems on a one on one basis through casual conversation. I decided to add an action item to my manifestation plan to figure out how to better use this gift by the end of the year – little did I know the answer would come much sooner.

A week later I went into Astral Travel with the purpose of creating a new learning relationship with a Pegasus. I teach Astral Travel and use it, along with dream work, to learn and grow. I find that the combination of active Astral Travel and passive Dreams work best for me to acquire and digest new knowledge.

I had been longing to work with a Pegasus for a long time. They are majestic beings living in the 3rd Spiritual Dimension. I often work through Greek archetypes, therefore Pegasus was a natural extension of that affinity. I prepared my space with all the necessary rituals for protection, gridded and sealed my room with Sacred Geometry to build up the energy, grabbed my notebook and set out to meet my first Pegasus. I used the circle, square and triangle to construct a vehicle for my Astral Travel, set my intention for the 3rd Dimension and arrived on the platform full of excitement.

I walked through the lush landscape of the Astral Plane passing many beings as I searched out a Pegasus. Eventually I was guided to a beautiful meadow with a small stream and there he was. Actually, I can’t really tell you if this first one was a he or she since I have subsequently learned that I don’t always meet the same Pegasus and they each have varying amounts of masculine and feminine energy. I sat quietly on a rock and waited until he was comfortable enough to speak. The energy in the 3rd Dimension is very different than here on the earth plane so I was only able to stay for about 15 minutes, but in that time we had a great conversation. I asked if he would be my teacher, to which he replied, “of course, come back when you are ready.”

About a week later, I repeated the process, landing in the same lush meadow and seeking out a Pegasus. This time, I came armed with something I wanted to work through and he was happy to oblige. Going back to the conversation with my friend, I wanted to know how I could best help people. I already teach classes and provide several healing modalities and empowerments, but something was missing. He looked at me and said quite plainly that I needed to write a spiritual advice column. I was floored! This was not an idea I had ever dreamed of, not even once. We spoke about it at length and he gave me a few ideas on names, topics and how to go about developing it. His last piece of advice was not to move to fast; I was to take this through the four worlds of Kabbalah - from Idea all the way to Action. As a Kabbalist, I understood the importance of giving each world the time it needed. I thanked him profusely and after discussing a few other things, we parted ways and I returned back to my own dimension.

Pegasus provided me the Idea, the first Kabbalistic world of Atziluth, so I spent the following month on the next two worlds: Briah (Thinking) and Yetzirah (Planning). Pegasus also told me that a man would come into my life to guide me through this process. This came in the form of Blue, my brilliant web developer and friend. Though he probably doesn’t even realize it, all the questions he answered and pondering we did over instant messenger provided me with the guidance I needed to move out of Briah and start formulating my plan in Yetzirah.

I worked through how I was going to launch the column, but I still needed a name. I went through much iteration, and then came another spark from the creative world of Atziluth. I was told to look at the Hebrew letter Gimel and the terms I use to describe myself. I have always considered myself a bridge, here to help people understand each other and creating paths between disparate worlds. Gimel is associated to bridge (and Camel) and is the Great Mother that welcomes you once you cross the abyss of Da’at. It is the 3rd letter of the Hebrew alphabet representing Binah, the 3rd Sephirah on the Tree of Life. Binah symbolizes "Understanding" and "processed wisdom," also known as deductive reasoning.

And with that, Inspirations from Binah found its name and purpose. A direct channel from the nurturing, archetypical feminine energy of Binah to the Kingdom of Malkuth, where we live. We must learn to manifest in the physical, for all the wisdom of the Universe does us no good if we do not learn how to use it on Earth. And now I share that Understanding with you…

My purpose in life is simple: to inspire you to make your dreams come true. I am a bridge that helps you find your way over an obstacle. I am often asked for help or council by the people around me. Whether it be lifelong friends or newfound acquaintances, their need to talk and my desire to help leads to hours of conversations. In the end, each of us walks away feeling like we have shared, learned and grown.

My words come forward wrapped in thought. They are not rushed. They spend ample time in both my mind and heart before they ever reached the air outside my body. They are guided by a lifetime of experience; experience that comes from observing people, studying formally and informally, and finding a deep spiritual base that guides my every step.

I have lived on both sides of the United States and learned the languages of English, Spanish, Love and Understanding. I have lived in Europe and learned the languages of French, Wisdom and Spirituality. I have traveled through Asia and South America and learned to be humble and respectful. I have worked in the corporate world, on the stage, behind the stage and with my hands. I am a Warrior of Light that fights using nothing more than my words and passion. I am a teacher, healer and speaker.

My words do not judge, for everyone in this world is trying to do the best he/she can. All questions are given the same weight, for when you are in the thick of it, is there really such a thing as a small problem?
