Even as a child I always knew that it would be my life's mission to help people. I brought home stray pets and I was always sharing my food and toys. My father was a preacher and we did not have much money. In those days preachers lived mostly from love offerings from their congregation. When the congregation was having money struggles they could not afford to give the preacher and his family money.

Many times I remember eating dandelions. My mom became an expert in preparing dandelions - dandelion greens, stew, broth, etc. I do know what it was like to go to bed hungry and I would lie in bed as a child visualizing eating a turkey dinner with stuffing and all the trimmings and finishing it off with pumpkin pie. I found to my surprise that this did work and I didn't feel quite as hungry. Of course there was that little, gnawing, irritating pain in my stomach asking for food.

I started to work very young cleaning dog kennels and working at my paper route. Every cent I made went to the family for food. My desire to help others became even stronger, so they would not have to experience what I did. As I got older, I came to the conclusion that I really could change my world and the people in and around it by changing my negative thinking to positive thinking, one new, positive thought and one new action at a time.

I discovered the Affirmation process quite by accident. When my son David was born with crooked feet I did an Affirmation that he would walk. At that time I did not even know what the word Affirmation meant, much less how it worked. I looked at my baby son and said with conviction to him, "David you will walk." I told others that he would walk and I kept that belief at the forefront of my mind. Then I was introduced to a wonderful organization the Shriners, who accepted David and took care of the surgery, the lengthy hospital stay and after treatment. My Affirmation, that I said with love that only a mother could feel for her child, worked!

I did not question how it would work; I just believed with all my heart that it would work. Today one would never guess that David ever had trouble with his feet. I knew the 'what' and God knew the 'how.'

In 1989, while I was still involved in real estate, I wrote my first book, Affirmations Your Passport to Happiness, which is now in its 7th edition. Then I retired from the Corporate World to discover my life was just beginning! I created my website where I advertise all my products-various Hard Cover Books, e-books, Tapes, Cards of Life, Affirmation Booklets, Children's programs, etc. I have never looked back as this second career is so rewarding, totally fulfilling and wonderful that I look forward to every day with excitement and enthusiasm. I am so honored and blessed that I have and am teaching this wonderful miraculous process to others.

Many wonderful people and opportunities have come into my life as a result of my Affirmations. Today finds me busy shipping books, preparing for and doing my radio talk shows, answering emails giving hope to people worldwide, doing Affirmation Counseling, Cards of Life Readings, lecturing, writing more e-books, articles and columns and being a mother, wife, teacher and student. Learning about Affirmations what they are and how they work, especially for me has been a magical journey and every day I expect and receive and live miracles. I have never been happier!

The Affirmation process that I teach has worked for me in every area of my life, with exceptional and miraculous results. Among many others, I have affirmed for homes, vehicles, careers, money, health, marriages, positive people, specific circumstances and just about everything. I have huge binders bulging with thousands of testimonials from people worldwide sharing with me the wonderful results they received when they acknowledged, harnessed and used the wondrous, creative power within each and every one us to make their dreams manifest as affirmed.

Some call me a 'Walking Affirmation' as people ask me "How come you are so lucky, everything seems to work for you?" After giving that question a great deal of thought I answered, "Well I believe it is because of my great desire to help others and the work I do and the saying, 'What goes around comes around,' and I am reaping some of the benefits of my work.

I am a Radio Talk Show Host, Lecturer, Author, Affirmations Coach, Cards of Life Intuitive Reader, Workshop Facilitator, and Columnist with this Magazine, Ordained Minister and Doctor of Divinity. I have also been nicknamed the Affirmations Doctor.

As I feel it is so important to teach children the power of the spoken word-Affirmations I have created several Children's Affirmation Programs such as KAP And also Motivational Affirmation Club, (MAC), in a club setting where kids really feel that they can belong.

I am so honored and blessed that I am in a position to shed the wondrous light of Hope to people everywhere. My Affirmation is to encourage every reader to find out what you really, really want to do, create your dream and then walk into and live in your dream. You will be so glad you did!

I am living proof that 'Affirmations When Properly Done Always Work!" sometimes not in our time frame or as we think they should, but they always work! Yes, Folks-- Believe it!
