Gypsy Woman
Juey Ann MacLeod has let nothing stop her in her adventures around the world. In the process, she has learned about life, love and most importantly herself. Her story begins in the corporate world where she was for 25 years, while living in one of Canada's busiest cities, Vancouver B.C.
One day in the mid 1999, she gave it all up and began a six-month journey throughout North America. Juey Ann turned Gypsy, putting over 65,000 kilometers on her car and thousands of airmiles. Her quest was for knowledge to support her Reiki, Coaching and Tantra Educators training, knowing this was the kind of work she was destined to do.
Her adventures over the past twenty years lead her to heal with the dolphins in Hawaii, study Tantra and create Angel Eye Healing. Also in Hawaii, she was honored to study Lomi-Lomi with a Kahuna called Aunty Margaret. In India, she studied and experienced Ayurveda at an Ayurvedic Hospital with Dr. Sukumarian. Japan found her meditating atop the Reiki Mountain - Mount Kumara and reinitiating her Reiki Masters Degree with a Japanese Reiki Master.
Passionate Communicator
Juey Ann has acquired a variety of certifications and diplomas, which have supported her focus to continually make a difference. Her passion is intimacy and joy. She coaches couples and individuals to reach their ultimate communication potential with themselves and each other by overcoming the blockages that limit their growth. She is trained in Touch For Health, Cranial Sacral and Polarity Therapy allowing her to bring balance back to the body.
Reconnection
Juey Ann has vast experience allowing others to feel safe in talking about deep sexual issues, including past abuse that has not been addressed or resolved. Her compassionate and gentle nature encourages her clients to open up and receive guidance and healing so they can reconnect to their purpose and their joy. She knows intuitively which modality will provide the most comfort and get the best results for the healing journey of her clients. Juey Ann knows that every answer is within us, and can be discovered in an environment of safety and love.
Joy Workshops
While visiting a friend in Lacombe Alberta, Juey Ann fell in love with the community and decided to make her home there. Based in Lacombe, Juey Ann conducts The Art of Joyful Loving Workshops for couples. This workshop introduces techniques that encourage deeper connection with your partner on all levels - mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. Understanding that life gets so busy and often the most important relationship doesn't seem to have enough attention or time, Juey Ann is so pleased to share the "10 Minute Connects" that amp up the sizzle and strengthen connection quickly. She also teaches a variety of One-day classes including Reiki, Intuitional Development and Discovering the Goddess - an empowerment series for women.
Juey Ann is excited to announce her new workshop entitled - I'm Alive. This is a very timely topic as it is directed to the Empty Nesters who are readjusting to the world without children in the home. She believes it can be challenging to connect back to yourself and your partner if we don't really understand who you are. Uncovering your strengths, your attributes and your own wants / goals / dreams allows you to create a more fulfilling, joyful life with meaningful relationships.
A Joy Peddler
In 1998, on one of her sojourns into the Southwestern United States to attend a workshop, Juey Ann met an amazing man. Five years later a mutual friend put on her "Matchmaking Hat" and invited both of them to another workshop where their relationship took on a new dynamic. Today, they are happily married and settled in Lacombe, where they often work together coaching private sessions or team teaching couples workshops.
Juey Ann is truly a Joy Peddler. She searched the world to learn all she could and find her own truth and joy. Now, those of us in Central Alberta are honored to have this amazingly talented and gentle woman living and working amongst us. She has much love and wisdom to share to those she works with. It is no longer a matter of scouring the world for information, now she provides all she learned to those of us who cannot take the trips or the time she did.
