Dear Irene,

I have to tell you about my toilet dreams and they happened two nights in a row. Can you make any sense of this for me please?

A. In the first dream the toilet had no seat on it and was parked on the road (the cars were parallel parked.) I sat on it, did my thing and then couldn't figure how to do the after stuff and I had on a big coat; so that gave me trouble plus people were standing around and then I had to flush without anyone seeing. I ended up leaving not as clean as I would have liked.

B. In the second dream I had a choice of toilets and one was in front of a window with a light overhead; one fancy one was further back but in the shadows and one was in a room marked for kids that I wouldn't go into. I didn't use any of them even though I needed to.

What do these dreams mean?

I am happy to offer you some insight on the toilet dreams, as they are fairly common in dreams. Ultimately every symbol in your dreams is unique to you for its personal meaning and understanding. I have broken your dream down at the symbols and I hope my suggestions resonate with you and bring some clarity.

# 1: In one the toilet had no seat...
- This may mean that you in your waking life you have no place to sit that's comfortable for you to do "your business", or even to do your job.

…perhaps this means you just have no time to sit in your waking life right now and you are too busy/stressed to find a place to sit and reflect with any great comfort.
- Sitting is often a time for us to take a deliberate time out and rest and if your life is too hectic it could easily cause this type of dream to give you the message that you need to take a well needed break.

…on it and was parked on the (road the cars were parallel parked. I sat on it, did my thing
- The road is always symbolic of our personal journey and you may be feeling "crappy" about your life or relationships right now and you don't want to linger there.
- With the other cars (people on the journey with you) being parallel parked; this may show that you are out of sync with those around you. These things could be your daily routines or issues you "have to take care of").

…and then couldn't figure how to do the after stuff
- Other stuff can be some other related life worries or upsets that are causing you mental distress.

…and had on a big (coat; so that gave me trouble,
- Coats offer protection, warmth, and a great cover up to those who may be watching in the outside world. The coat giving you trouble is possibly something you want to hide and you are not able to cover it up as easily as you thought.

… plus people were standing around and then I had to flush without anyone seeing. I ended up leaving not as clean as I would have liked.
- What if not feeling clean represented how you felt about an aspect of your business or personal life or with someone you are not comfortable with or feel uncertain about?
- Not knowing what to do about the "after stuff" also makes you feel even more "crappy" and unclean.

# 2. Then last night I had a choice of toilets and one was in front of a window with a light overhead;
- Having to make choices in our life is a constant and stressful part of our existence and knowing or seeing that you have choices and recognizing that fact is good.
- Windows are vision and clarity about our world. Looking into a window can be looking within yourself and your motivations; looking outwards is looking at external circumstances and a more extravert view of ourselves;
- Light brings illumination, perhaps on this second night you are seeing a "crappy" situation with more clarity or seeing things you don't like in your life with more clarity; seeing the light can mean seeing the results of something. A light in a dream is also about seeing and knowing who we really are or how to improve on who we are or what we are dealing with.

… one fancy light was further back but in the shadows and one was in a room marked for kids that I wouldn't go into. I didn't use any of them even though I needed to.
- Light(s) can mean the manifesting of truth, divinity or direct knowledge and often this knowledge comes beyond form and appears as energy or spirit that comes to us in dreams and it visualizes in our dreams as light.
- As there were some shadows, this could mean that there is something, someone, etc. that is not is clear as it could be. More light on a situation may be needed so you can make a decision on whether or not to ("use") or need to use something around you.
- Being as something was marked for kids could identify the "who" and what of the shadows and light around you right now. Are you holding something back?
