Serendipity - October 2008
By Carol J. Uchytil
"Serendipity. Look for something, find something else, and realize that what you've found is more suited to your needs than what you thought you were
looking for."
- Lawrence Block -
This issue featured inspiring articles of courage, personal growth, conscious choices and wellness from experts and practitioners in the holistic community.
In J.C. Page's The Violet Journey we were reminded that in times of weakness or change, we draw our strength and wisdom from other people in the community such as family, friends, practitioners, our spiritual organization, this magazine or people that inspire and motivate us. By the same token we provide that strength and wisdom to
others when they need us.
In Alex Vanwells’ “Knock Knock...Who's In There?”, the condition of the planet as a mechanism for feedback was suggested. Alex emphasized that if we'd like to see a collective change, we must individually become that change.
In Joette Lees’ “Perceptions of Karma”, she stated that teaching with compassion is Divinely necessary to empower the entire awakening of all universal energies. We must co-create with Divine Destiny through absolute integrity, impeccability, courage, conviction and intention for balance. By empowering ourselves with choices and new perceptions, we can embrace with an open mind and heart The Divine Mother Earth and all its inhabitants.
In Dawn Marie Bouchers’ “Goal Setting On Angel Wings”, she questioned what the one thing was you would want to accomplish in order to live without regret at the end of your life on Earth. It's a tough question that addresses our purpose but aligns nicely with the article submitted by Garth Roberts, The Opus - From Vision - To Plan - To Performance. Douglas Vermeeren states "I want people to recognize that they will be successful when their
achievements allow them to give back to society. It's the legacy we leave behind that counts."
I trust this issue provided you with some new insight and courage to do what you feel is necessary to create your extraordinary Opus. Until the next issue...
With Love & Light,
Carol
