Reclaiming My Superpowers

Ever since I was a young girl I totally idolized the super heroes on TV. They were my mentors and I wanted to be just like them. I wanted to be the righter of wrongs and advocate for good against evil - truth and justice. In most cases they had a super power. I always wondered where my super power was? "Ask and ye shall receive", as well as, 'Divine Timing". I just finished reading The Violet Light: The Power That Changes Everything, by Paco Alarcon-Kahan and all I can say is... WOW! To connect and tap into Divine Grace through the Violet Light is all powerful and all transforming. Finally I will wonder no more since the Violet Light has come to the rescue and can be the super power for anybody who is open to playing with it and receiving it. This is really exciting! Eventually this super power will awaken and call forth our inner gifts, talents and abilities (treasures) to be reclaimed and shared. The result (blessing) is an open heart filled with a deep connection to Divine Love, Compassion and Joy.
The Violet Light is an aspect of the Violet Ray and The Violet Flame. It is the highest frequency available to us at this time and offers all the tools one requires to surrender and release all lower vibrating energies. I can understand how some might read this with great resistance since it means doing some inner work. But we don't have to get caught up in the how, but rather have the intent, then call in the Violet Light and let it do its magic. What I love about playing with the Violet Light is the simplicity. It’s simple and to the point without extraneous details. One can easily adapt it to ones current spiritual practice to greatly enhance it. The Invocation and three Activations are very powerful. The key being that we continue to meditate daily to strengthen and expand the light within. However, once the door is opened it is important that we walk through and continue the journey.
This book got me thinking! Since the power within this book alone is one thing, I wonder what a live transmission would be like. The old adage "Where two or more are gathered" would most likely apply here. When a whole group are gathered with similar intent and energy the transformation could be phenomenal! After reading the book, the next step would definitely be to attend a live workshop. I express deep gratitude to Paco Alarcon - Kahan for bringing forth this work to the world. Healing in Hawaii

Throughout most the years of my life, since I was 15, I've been at work, and if not at work, raising a child and then helping with my Grandchildren. I was alone most of my life, having married someone who was away most of the time. I went to work, came home, cooked, cleaned, shopped, paid bills, worried, stressed, acquired fibromyalgia; beat it, then acquired diabetes; beat it, then acquired osteoarthritis; still working on that. Life for me was tough, not as tough as others, I know, but tough enough. Ever heard of the "tip of the iceberg"? This year (2008) I was at the end of my rope; I was so exhausted I could hardly remember who I was and what I was doing. I couldn't remember anything, appointments, etc, due to my mental fatigue.
I received a phone call from my daughter who said I had two choices, either baby sit the youngest Grandchild for a week or go with her to Hawaii for a conference. Want to guess which one I chose? Ha! You're right, babysitting - not!
That phone call changed my perspective on life - I actually had the money for the plane fare, which was a miracle in itself, and I was ready to go! The plane trip was uncomfortable and my osteoarthritis nearly drove me crazy being cramped up in the plane, but we finally made it to Hawaii.
From the moment I stepped off the plane, I was in another dimension. I couldn't believe it; no back pain, I walked and walked and walked some more; went shopping, jumped in the ocean, went to see all the sights, from sea to sea and never felt a moment's pain. The weather was 80 all the time I was there and my mind, believe it or not, did not think of those problems at home; nor did it think of bills, work, stress, osteoarthritis or any other looming problems or otherwise.
I am a huge believer that “what is meant to be is meant to be” and we do not chose our path, rather it is chosen for us. Proof is in Hawaii where I was meant to go to rejuvenate my mind and body. Thank you, fate, for showing me the path. I will hold the memories forever.
A Little Lift For A Blue Jay

About a year ago I was alerted to this horrible sound coming from outside on my deck. When I went outside to see what was going on I found a Blue Jay struggling to get beyond the corner of the glass railing. He was obviously stressed since he was unaware of the clear passage directly behind him.
As any animal lover would do, I grabbed a broom to try to gently slip under his feet so I could set him on his way to freedom.
After I got him to hop on the broom handle I slowly lifted him up over the deck railing and off he gratefully flew into the direction he was heading.
In that moment, I realized this little bird and his determination to beat his beak against the glass to get where he was going, mirrors so many of our actions and experiences in life. There were clear passage ways around him but he was unable to see these due to his panicked state. All the bird needed was a little lift to help point him in the right direction and set him on his path again.
Once again, I was reminded that all of us at some point in our lives need a little lift to help guide us in the right direction!
